Since its founding in 2023, Las Pulgas Big Band has drawn crowds with our lively dance music and energetic performances at community events in the Bay Area. We are a traditional 18 piece big band, plus 2 amazing singers. Our members, all volunteers, range in age from the 20’s to 89. We chose to be called “Las Pulgas”, the “Fleas”, because so many of our members live within the original 1795 Rancho de Las Pulgas area. We hope you enjoy our band’s performance of favorites from the Golden Era of big band swing and beyond.
